August 25, 2008 Hey there! Hope you had a good weekend. I went to Tootsie's on Friday afternoon to see that kid...Tyler Dickerson, 14 years old, play. Apparently John Rich has discoverd him and LOVES him. I need to give him another shot....I think I will go back tomorrow to see him play. I couldn't get past thinking "I am so glad he is not MY child!"...seriously to be 14 playing in bars hanging with celebs in the party scene. Kid seemed like 14 going on 21. Not good! I did talk to his dad who was there so I guess that's good...as long as his dad's head is screwed on straight! Friday night I went out to meet my friend Sean who I've kept in touch with since I lived here in 2003. We were out on his boat Percy Priest lake....remember the line in Craig Morgan's "Redneck Yacht Club" about party cove?

We were at Party Cove! It was fun....on the weekends it gets crazy and fun. People just tie their boats together and it's one huge party. Labor Day weekend at Party Cove should be awesome! I have a full week ahead including a stop on John Rich's Get Rich Talent Search. The dude is out to find some seriously good new country talent and I am gonna go spy :) Have a great day!
