This year, Country Jam USA is introducing a new way to find out about news surrounding the festival. Country Jam guests can text message via cell phone to the number 39649 to receive responses back indicating weather updates, line-up times, main stage delays, 2009 line-up, etc.

The users can send three different messages to Country Jam to receive messages back. If users text ‘lineup,’ they receive a message back with the Country Jam line-up and show times for the entire weekend. Users may also text ‘alerts,’ which allows them to receive a group of messages regarding main stage schedule changes, weather delays, traffic updates, etc. Texting ‘jam09’ allows them to receive next year’s line-up information as is becomes available in the fall.
